Aurora

Aurora Aksnes is a Norwegian Singer and Songwriter. Her birthplace was in Stavanger on the 15th of June 1996. She is professionally referred to as Aurora. Her name could be also stylized by the name AURORA. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves, came out in May 2015 on Decca Records to great approval of music bloggers and the media. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her best-known songs. She gained some further recognition via a blog post from Katy Perry where Perry endorsed the song Runaway. Enjoy her day. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory was of discovering an attic piano and being awed by the sounds it would produce. Jan Oystein Aksnes and May-Britt Aksnes encouraged her to learn music, not for work or for a passion and as a way to develop. For this reason she wrote her first new compositions. She has cited renowned songwriters Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan as influences as well as an affinity for Bjork's style. Her mom encouraged her to play her music publicly, not so that she could be famous, but in order to show others the importance of their work and how they can make a difference for humanity. She was suggested by her mother to be able to perform her music publicly in order to help people realize their own importance and how they could impact the world. They didn't even be aware until fourteen. The dream was never to turn into Aurora. The singer claims she is a fan of writing songs. She believes that music is the most effective method of feeling anything.
