Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley one of the best-known and wealthiest Reggae Singers was born on February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a member of Shottas with another singer Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records in 1996 where the first album he put out was Like Father Like Son. He recorded a variety of singles including Judge Not With Patra as well as Dear Dad (which reached the top of the British Reggae Charts) and the Who the Cap Fit Remix and Sensimelia. All of these songs contributed to the rising popularity of Ky among the younger generation of reggae singers. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) for Avenue which was a smash cover from Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was a part of the Midem performance (an international showcase of music), which was first performed in Miami.
